How to install a graphics card?

 

   Now a days,nearly nothing can be done without the help of computer.From salt to satellite,everything is directly or indirectly depends on computers.So it is necessary to upgrade the computers to improve their performance.Graphics card(VGA card) is nothing but an external memory which improves the graphics quality of a computer.
   The installation of graphics cards is a problem.Yes you can do it by handing it over to some professional one but in that case you have to pay.So it is better to have a clear idea on how to install a graphics card.The entire process is given billow step by step.
Step-1  
   Unpack your VGA card and you will get a hardware(that is the graphics card),a software installation disk.Now open your CPU cabinet.

    The next step is to find the external VGA card slot on your motherboard.Different companies make their graphics card slots in different places on motherboard.You can find it by observing the motherboard very closely.There are different slots for different components like Sound card,LAN card etc.Now after getting the accurate slot,put your card and push it until you hear a click sound.It is for nothing but to make sure that the card is properly inserted.Now look at your CPU back panel,you have an extra VGA port.Simply connect the display(monitor) into the new port.

   You are almost done,close the cabinet and start the system.You have successfully installed a hardware,but it will not work correctly until it gets correct software.Pick the driver CD and install the proper driver for your card.Now restart the machine.Thats it.
