Sometimes,system formatting(pc formatting) becomes too much essential for user due to slow performance,corruption in system,viruses etc etc.So you have to format your computer.In this post I will show you how to format your PC or Laptop correctly with a pendrive.Yes guys,it is possible to format your system without inserting any OS disk into your DVD ROM drive.But in order to do this operation using a pendrive,you have to make it bootable.I will show you how to make a pendrive bootable.Just follow the steps bellow:
1.Insert your pendrive and format it perfectly
The first step is,delete all files from your pendrive.Insert the usb pendrive and format it.This is important because the pendrive could be corrupted(virus affected) and your OS which is to be installed via this pendrive,will be corrupted too.So it is highly recommended.
2.Prepare your OS disk or installation files to be copied
This is the most important step.Now see,you have to have the OS(operating system) disk or the set up file of the operating system to be installed.If you have a OS disk and your dvd drive is ok,then you can do this on your own computer.But if you don't have your dvd drive working properly,you have to work on another system(In order to copy the files to your pendrive,you have to insert your OS disk).On the other hand if you have the required files to install fresh operating system in your computer,then no need to go anywhere(Make sure the files are not corrupted).
3.Copy the OS installation files to your pendrive via WINTOFLASH
Wintoflash is the software we are using to make a bootable usb drive.You can download the software by clicking here.After downloading,extract it and install.This software helps to transfer Windows set up from CD or DVD or a directory to pendrive.When you have your system setup files and wintoflash are ready,open the software and chose your OS directory.If you are using DVD or CD,then select your DVD drive,if not then select the directory where the OS setup files are kept.Then you have to chose the destination directory,means your pendrive,where the system files will be coppied.Now click next.Your job is done.
It will take about 15-20 minutes to copy and after that you will have your pendrive ready.Now you can format any computer using this pendrive(Make sure that you are using WINDOWS).
